Lynn Soo Spurling, Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist NC License #10616 and Certified Yoga Instructor.
Lynn's motivation to become a Massage Therapist was inspired by her interest in and practice of Yoga. A student of yoga since the mid-1990's, she discovered Anusara Yoga upon moving to Asheville in 2003. This form of Yoga focuses on the Universal Principals of Alignment and proper body biomechanics and is complementary to her style of massage therapy. Lynn's pledge to her clients is that they will leave feeling refreshed, renewed and more conscious of the constant messages their bodies are sending them. Her treatments and advice are guaranteed to help you live a better, more comfortable and more conscious life.
Lynn attended the Asheville School of Massage and Yoga and graduated in October, 2010. She received her yoga certification through the Asheville Yoga Center and completed her 230 hours Yoga Alliance teacher program in March 2010. In addition, Lynn has attended numerous yoga workshops and seminars guided by some of the top teachers in the country since 2003. All of this training and schooling has provided her with a great base of knowledge and understanding to help others understand their own bodies.
Lynn received her Bachelor of Arts from City University of New York, Queens College. Her extensive work and travel experience have taken her throughout north and south Asia, Australia, Europe, Canada, and the US.
She is married and enjoys spending time with her husband, friends and family. When she's not providing relief to her many clients, she loves cooking, hiking, reading, and tasting wines with her husband Josh, who owns Table Wine in South Asheville.
